COVID-19 Protocols

Update (1/1/22): East Brunswick has issued a indoor mask mandate for the month of January. During this time anyone entering the building regardless of vaccination status will need to wear a mask. Participants will not be required to wear a mask during their activity; however, will need to put a mask on while moving about the facility.  

Spectators:

The Fields will not be allowing spectators into the building for any winter rentals. Only players, coaches, and staff will be permitted to enter the facility. This rule will be enforced January through March. We understand that parents want to watch and so we will be broadcasting a live feed of the activity areas in the building on our website. Staff

All staff will be trained for up-to-date information in regard to COVID-19 and regulations set place. This includes but not limited to the basic principles of emergency first aid, blood borne pathogens, infection control, hand washing practices, personal protective equipment (PPE) and COVID-19 signs and symptoms.

All staff must be fever free and show no symptoms before entering the facility. Staff must also wear a mask at all times.

Health & Safety

Facility will be cleaned under the guidance of CDC.

All high traffic/highly touched areas and bathrooms will be cleaned continually throughout the day.   

Equipment used during activities will be cleaned after every use.  

At this time, only those who are not vaccinated are required to wear a mask inside the facility. Participants will not be required to wear a mask during physical activities but must put a mask back on if they are to move about the facility. Anyone who is fully vaccinated will not be required to wear a mask inside the facility. 

If we become aware of an individual testing positive for COVID-19, we will immediately notify the Department of Health, local health officials, staff and families of a confirmed case while maintaining confidentiality.

We have an isolated space designated for anyone that we find out has tested positive or shows symptoms and we have PPE and sanitizing products readily available.

Protocols and Building Management

The building is equipped with several HVAC units and exhuast fans to allow for proper air ventilation and filtration throughout facility.

Facility will remain in stock with PPE, hand sanitizer and proper cleaning supplies following CDC guidelines. Building will be professionally cleaned three times a week, our staff will conduct proper cleaning throughout the day and at opening/closing of the building.

Signage in regard to COVID-19, social distancing, hand washing, etc, will be placed in the appropriate spots in the facility.
